Referee Gomes Handed Salah His Whistle and Cards, Asking If He Wanted to Run the Game


During The AFCON match finals Yesterday, referee Victor Gomez offered him his whistle and cards to the Egyptian Superstar Mo Sala after complaining about a foul, asking if Salah thought he could come and continue the match as a referee after his complaints. Salah was complaining about a free-kick being awarded to Senegal.

Back in school, this is the equivalent of a teacher telling a stubborn student “Why don’t you come here and teach” that’s when a student talks too much in class.’

The Liverpool star Salah was frustrated yesterday evening in Yaoude as his team lost final to Senegal Sunday evening, was left dejected on the pitch but he was later consoled by his team-mate at Liverpool Sadio Mane who scored the winning penalty for his country Senegal.
