Key stakeholders in Ghana’s education system have always taken each other on when learners or students record poor examination results. Parents blame teachers, while teachers tend to expose the Government’s inability to provide the necessary logistics for proper upbringing of our children.

The Government of Ghana, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service has introduced the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP). GALOP is expected to improve learning outcomes in our public basic schools in the next forceable future.

Ghana Education Service intends to organise an intensive workshop for all GALOP schools in the country. Training would be organised by the various District Education Directorates. The training programme is scheduled to start on Tuesday, 1st February, 2022 and end on Friday, 4th February, 2022.

The training activity is dubbed MSRC. The aim of the workshop is to equip Headteachers and their teachers with the requisite Internet-based skills to gather, write and submit weekly reports to Ghana Education Service Headquarters.

Again, each school would be given a laptop computer and a modem as the weekly reports are going to be sent via the Internet.
