The Director General of Ghana Education Service, Professor Opoku Amankwa, has revealed when primary school teachers and remaining teachers who are yet to receive their TM1 laptops will get it.
In an interview on UTV’s Mpu ne Mpu, Prof Amankwa said that, the distribution of the laptops will be completed by the middle of September 2022.
He has added that, the distribution of the TM 1 Laptop to all teachers in the Senior High Schools throughout the country have been completed. It is however worth noting that, there are isolated mop ups, which ought to be carried out. He said.
Distribution of the laptops to teachers in the Junior High School level, have been completed in 15 Regions except for Ashanti Region.
According to the GES boss, he was also deducted for the laptop but is yet to receive his. He revealed that teaching staff in the offices will receive their laptops immediately when the primary school teachers are completed.
Management of GES is working closely with the supplier to ensure that these timelines are strictly adhered to in order for all eligible teachers to receive their laptops by the middle of September this year.
